Cross-Docking — Transshipment without Storage
We cross-dock palletised, customs-cleared B2B cargo by unloading it, sorting it for up to three recipients and reloading it. The package includes a 24-hour slot and one week of storage, from €500 for 20 ft and €700 for 40 ft containers.
What cross-docking means here
Cross-docking combines devanning or stripping, sorting and onward loading at one transshipment point. This is sea-container unloading, not waste handling or disposal containers.

FAQ
What is cross-docking?
Cross-docking moves inbound goods directly into a planned outbound flow. We unload, sort and reload, with a 24-hour slot and one week of buffer storage included in the package.
How is cross-docking different from a transshipment warehouse?
Cross-docking is the operating process and aims for a short dwell time. A transshipment warehouse is the facility where that process, and short buffer storage when needed, takes place.
How long does it take to unload a container?
A palletised container can often be unloaded within one to two hours when it arrives as scheduled. Sorting and coordinated reloading follow the booked workflow within the 24-hour package slot.
How can a container be unloaded without a crane?
Palletised goods are moved at the dock with suitable materials-handling equipment. Loose cartons are hand-unloaded and are priced outside the palletised cross-dock package.
Which documents do you need before delivery?
We need the container and seal numbers, packing list, confirmed customs status, load type, arrival window and preferably photos. Goods must arrive customs-cleared, and we never act as importer of record.
Do you accept loose cartons for hand unloading?
Yes, after prior review we can hand-unload loose cartons. The published loose-container unloading prices apply, with palletisation and outbound handling added where required.
How many recipients can you serve from one container?
The palletised cross-dock package includes sorting for up to three destinations. We review and quote additional destinations before confirming the slot.
What happens if the truck arrives early or late?
The driver or dispatcher should report the change immediately so we can check dock availability. Service outside the confirmed window depends on capacity; waiting time is €65 per hour after two free hours.
